6. Communications Monitoring and Privacy
As described in our Terms of Service, FerryPros administrators may access, review, and monitor messages sent through the platform for purposes including compliance enforcement, dispute resolution, fraud investigation, and responding to legal requests.
Communications data is collected and stored as part of the normal operation of the messaging system. You should have no expectation of absolute privacy when using the platform's messaging features. We recommend not sharing sensitive personal information (such as Social Security numbers, financial account details, or passwords) through the platform messaging system.
7. Data Retention
We will retain your personal data for as long as reasonably necessary to fulfill the purposes we collected it for, including for the purposes of satisfying any legal, regulatory, tax, accounting, or reporting requirements.
Communications data (messages sent through the platform) is retained indefinitely for audit, legal, and compliance purposes, even if a user deletes or archives conversations from their inbox or closes their account.
Verification and background check records are retained as required by law and for legitimate business purposes.
8. Data Security
We have implemented appropriate technical and organizational security measures to prevent your personal data from being accidentally lost, used, or accessed in an unauthorized way, altered, or disclosed. In addition, we limit access to your personal data to those employees, agents, contractors, and other third parties who have a business need to know.
However, the transmission of information via the internet is not completely secure. We cannot guarantee the security of your personal information transmitted to our Service.
